PETS

PETS is a two piece band with drum machine. But why couldnt i get a sound i was comfy with? The drum machine was distorting, the guitar was nothing but tv snow. Man, i was worn out or somthing.

We ran a D112 on the bass amp, and we also ran a direct line off of the balanced out line on the amp. I blended the two together for a neat sound. The guitar was a 57 all the way. For the drum machine, we took a line of the amp, and mic'd it with an Oktava mk-219.

At first we were distorting all over the place. but after playing it back and fixing a few things here and there, we were rolling again. We finished three songs i think, and have some songs left over from an older session. Pretty sure we will be doing vocals out at dig-doug studios at a later time. though i kinda want to do it here, just to get it done.

On a side note I have made up some Drag the River posters for this coming Thursdays show at Old Ironsides. They are bringin along the Chicken Demos cd with them. Cant wait.
