Lousy Bums - Pets - Army of Trees

Well ive had a couple of weeks of laying low and cleaning out the garage that its about time to get a few more recordings down.
Im looking forward to doing the army of trees in may. they came over while we finished up the Helper Monkeys vocals and hung out while i made a ruff mix for them and dug it. so they got a taste of what to come. im going to practice recording more drums before then though. i want to try the Woodhouse style on my drum set to see if i can pull it off a little better. my "style" thus far has only been close mic. the drums dont realy breathe.

im also recording the Lousy Bums which is Jaz from the helper monkeys, and ed (from los huevos fame)'s other band. i havent heard them yet, som im not sure about how to "make" them sound. with the helper monkeys i knew. it was straight ahead punk. make em loud and noisy.
im thinking that this will be a little less like that, but still "punk" in some vein as in plenty of beer and rock.

Pets also want to record some more. This is kinda cool, people are actualy *wanting* to record with me. I must be doing somthing right.
I still need to get the tracks done for the comp as it looks like it snowed on the dogwood at my parents house, summer is on its way and spring is out the door soon. yikes.

hotel pistol is also onboard for some late may recording and i talked with Finian from Vol4 last night about some may recording as well.
i'll try not to get too bogged down.
